Been re-re-re-reading my book on 4AD Records lately. A lot of goofy crap (Dead Can Dance, Ivo's pet projects, anything involving Nick Cave), but a lot of awesomeness, too. Xmal was always good fun. Started off sounding just like THE SCREAM-era Siouxsie, but in German, and what more could you really ask for?
Highly recommended for the discerning post-punker on your Festivus shopping list.
