FREE KITTENS FOR DEAD SLAVES

Published in 1998 by Sweet Lady Moon Press.
Is this the only copy in existence?
Possibly.
Guy wrote me a few years back to tell me he'd
bought a copy at a library book sale
(all the crap they were getting rid of),
which I thought was pretty funny,
this collection being in a library at some point.
Love the long, skinny format the editors chose.
Love love love the artwork.

Awesome! At least 2 copies out there then, and maybe the guy who bought his at the library (tiny upstate NY town, I think).

I can't remember who the mastermind of the press was. One of those 90s small press writers, I'm pretty sure....

Thank you. Somehow, I think his wife did the design for the books, although I might be mistaken.

no, you're correct, Kate Teegarden

Man, I'm glad someone's remembering all this. I lost track of Cari Taplin, too, from Kitty Litter Press, and I haven't heard anyone talk about Debbie Kirk lately. I did a chapbook with Paul Weinman way back in the day, too, he passed away last year....
